ISOLATEK TYPE 300 gives a fire resistance of up to 4 (four) hours to the metallic carrying structures that he is applied on.
ISOLATEK TYPE 300 is a material that gives also a good thermal isolation, considerably reducing the heat losses when applied on the roof’s structure. The massiveness factor, specific for every metallic section to protect, is a ratio between Hp (the circumference of the metallic element to protect - subject to the action of fire, in terms of meters) and A (the section surface of the metallic element to protect in terms of square meters). This ratio (Hp/A) decides the consumption of intumescent material, depending on the specific temperature delay of each metallic element.
